BSchoolForTheBlock is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We are always working to improve the experience for all visitors.

Our standard

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our guide. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we do

  • Use real text instead of images of text, and list features as real bulleted lists
  • Add alt text to images so screen readers can describe them
  • Use clear headings so pages are easy to scan and navigate
  • Choose colors with readable contrast
  • Make sure menus, links, and forms work with a keyboard
  • Write link text that says where the link goes
  • Mark Spanish text so screen readers pronounce it correctly

Known limits

Some parts of our site come from other companies, and we don’t fully control how accessible they are. These include:

  • Shopify checkout and Shop Pay
  • Our booking calendar for discovery calls
  • Embedded videos and media players
  • Other third-party apps and tools

We choose tools with accessibility in mind and report problems to those companies when we find them. We do not guarantee that every part of the site fully meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
